Air Medic makes two stretcher carrier models for use on commercial aircraft. Model AM2003 is our most popular stretcher carrier and is rated for the standard 170 lb. passenger load of aircraft seating.

Model AM2303 is the newest addition to our stretcher carrier family and is rated for a 300 lb. passenger load, the highest rating for any carrier on the market.

Both models come with our standard complement of accessories, a shipping container, privacy curtain assembly, armrests. The carrier frame design also allows for the option of securing additional medical equipment to the frame as needed.

We believe our product outperforms all competitors models in safety & durability. Our product is designed for heavy duty, long-term use. The AM2003 has been used by some airlines for over 25 years.

Air Medic stretcher carriers have the unique capability of being installed anywhere in the aircraft cabin (except for emergency exit rows) without necessitating the removal of passenger seats. Installation can be effected in minutes without the use of special tools.

The unique design of the Air Medic stretcher allows for the evacuation of a patient in an emergency situation through the emergency exit door. No other stretcher in the civil aviation industry has this capability.

The patient is transferred on and off the aircraft via a flat stretcher (with adjustable tilt-up backrest), which secures to the stretcher carrier. This system insures patient comfort and safety by minimizing patient handling and providing a secure platform in the transfer to and from the aircraft.

Air Medic stretchers were designed to aviation standards and tolerances, and weigh less than 38 kilos.

The AM2003 & AM2303 are exempt from the 16g requirement established by the FAA. We do not believe that any stretcher on the market has undergone the 16g sled test, however, we believe the structural components of our stretcher would far exceed this requirement.
